Bergplaats Game Farm is situated 450 kilometers from the city of Cape Town. It is easily accessible by vehicle, and also offers a chartered jet service from all the major South African airports to its private, newly laid landing strip. Two lodges provide comfortable, luxurious accommodation for 20 people, and a separate mountain lodge with breathtaking, endless views offers a more contemplative experience for an additional six visitors. The heart of the facilities is the natural, stone-constructed open air lapa, adjoined to main lodge, where conference goers sit around the fire after a long and fruitful day, sharing a drink, exchanging stories and ruminating under the breathless starry expanse of the Karoo night sky.
